Sookia Staggers, LCSW

Sookia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Barry University and her Bachelor of Art in Sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans. 

Sookia  works with children, teens, couples, and adults facing a range of issues including deployment, anxiety, ADHD, foster care/adoption, stress management, life transitions, work/life balance, grief and loss, as well as family and relationship difficulties. 

As a therapist, Sookia recognizes that the decision to enter therapy is often not an easy choice. Her goal is to create a supportive and safe environment where goals and solutions can be explored. Her approach is warm and professional, and she believes in starting where the client is at and helping build on existing strengths.
