Meltdowns, frustration or anger

Fears, separation or excessive worry

Acting out, withdrawal or new behaviors

Divorce, moving, family changes or transitions

Death, illness or other significant losses

Friendships, confidence, school stress or adjustment

Children naturally use play to communicate, explore, learn and make sense of their experiences.
Play therapy provides a safe, supportive environment where children can use play, creativity and developmentally appropriate activities to express themselves and work toward therapeutic goals.

Communicate thoughts, feelings and experiences.

Recognize emotions, patterns and triggers.

Learn ways to manage big emotions and stress.

Acting out, withdrawal or new behaviors

Use those skills at home, school and in relationships.

Our dedicated play therapy room in Holly Springs was intentionally designed to give children space to explore, create, move, communicate and connect.
Depending on your child's needs and treatment goals, sessions may incorporate:
Imaginative Play • Sensory Activities • Art • Games • Therapeutic Toys • Storytelling • Movement • Skill Building
We Start With You
We learn what you're noticing, your concerns, your child's strengths and what you hope will change.
We Get to Know Your Child
Your therapist creates a safe relationship and learns how your child communicates, connects and responds.
We Create an Individualized Plan
Therapy is tailored to your child's age, developmental needs, challenges and goals.
We Bring the Skills Home
When appropriate, we'll help you understand what your child is working on and provide strategies to support progress outside of therapy.
You know your child better than anyone.
Your therapist will work with you to understand what's happening outside of the therapy room and, when appropriate, provide strategies and tools you can use at home.
At the same time, your child needs a safe therapeutic relationship where they can express themselves. We'll explain how communication, confidentiality and parent involvement will work for your child.

Let's talk about what you're seeing, what your child may be struggling with, and what type of support might help.
